First up hello to everyone, I have just got a x reg 1.7 puma and found this site as I have a few problems with it which of course were not there a few weeks ago and when I test drove the car :-(

any how I seem to get a judder when I lift off the accellerator and then again if I gently put it back on again. I have cleaned the MAF, Throttle Body which seemed to make it better (but that could be in my head wishing it was better) does any one have any ideas?

Could it be as simple as the HT Leads or coil pack, if so is there any way of proving this before I buy replacement parts?

this is driving me mad is there any diagnostics software for a laptop to read the fault codes from the ecu (a bit like vagcom for VW Audi Group cars)

also there are some plastic hole covers missing from the passenger door does any one know where I can aquire some of these as all the breakers around me dont seem to have any.

important maintenance information about your Puma have a read here clicky me

with an X reg you can bring fault codes up on the digital odemetre, a quick search will tell you how you can do this

plastic door trim clips can be bought from Ford parts counter

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale
