just had ford clutch put in after 18 years, was original clutch and is original gear box on 1999 1.4 puma, garage said there was no oil in gearbox and couldn't find a leak, any ideas as told its a sealed unit and even after 18 years would not evaporate. thanks in advance for any replies.

Oil can leak out the gearbox breather pipe on top of the engine particularly if it is inserted the wrong way round but your engine would be very oily if that was the case.
