My Puma's ventilation and a/c is blasting out hot air whatever setting is selected. I took it to my local garage, where they replaced the heater valve, but that hasn't solved the problem. They tell me it needs a new heater control panel. Ford charge £336.27 for a new one, so I'm trying to find a second-hand one. There are a couple on eBay, but they lack the a/c control button and air circulation selector that the existing one has. Does anybody know where I might be able to get hold of a matching replacement at a reasonable price? Thanks.

Its a shame that garages and others can't manage proper diagnosis and save changing parts unnecessarily. Especially as aftermarket valves are generally less reliable than the older Ford ones.

I've got around 40 panels in stock that need testing before sale, will try and make it a job this week.

Thanks Ian. Could you please let me know if you find you have one that might be suitable for me?

Yes. Could also do with knowing whether you have cigarette lighter accessory socket within the panel or whether yours is an older one without that socket present.

It's the older type with air circulation button and A/C button on the panel, but without the cigar lighter.
I have a photo, but can't work out how to upload it.
I do have the part number though: 96FP19A522FB.
