Hi,
My 2nd post, im getting use to this site!
As we all know, FRP is prone to stonechips, alot!
Apart from armourfend, is there anyone or anywhere i could find some mudflaps for my car?
I don't want the horrible looking sparco ones, just plain black that do not stand out but does its job in stopping stonechips?

Thanks!

Eddie

you can buy from Halfords a universal pair made by Canon in a hardish black rubber that will fit on the FRP, less than a £10
or you could make your own black ones from the plastic used for Rally mudlfaps, with fixings probably come out at about £30

Excellent, will have a look at halfords this week!
How are they fitted, you don't need to drill holes, do you?

The canon ones look really good and quite a few FRP owners have them fitted. No need to drill the wings they held on with metal clamps all very neat.

We got two sets stored at the minute wink.gif

I managed to pick up a spare set from Halfords last week. £14.99 now but worth every penny. They only ever seem to stock one set at a time though so its just luck if you find any!! biggrin.gif

Sparco ones can look really good when shaped well and colour coded to the car.... wink.gif

the generic 'off the shelf' blue ones don't suit the car very well at all....

they take serious time to make unfortunatly... wacko.gif wacko.gif

the sparco one do look nice, i know this might sound stupid but how do they screw on coz the screws and spacers look like they need to be screwed into the arches?
do the cannon ones need any cutting ordo they edge on?

Thanks for all the replies guys!

Cannon ones fit straight on with no drilling at all. I've a few spare sets in my bottom drawer as they seem readily available down here. If you PM me I'll sort out sending you a set.
