Date & Time: 14 March 2003 @ 20:00

Location (Town/City): Basildon, Essex

Venue: Festival Leisure Park

Contact Person: Yvonne Bardwell (iamv2001@yahoo.co.uk)

Details/Directions:

A chance for all those pumapeeps local to the area (and of course those wanting to travel from further a field) to come together and share in a few laughs and a good old natter!

Plan is to have a meal out together. Meeting 8pm on the Festival Leisure Park sharp. Meal will be 8.30pm.

M25, J29 signposted for A127. Join A127 towards Basildon/Southend. Go over the half roundabout and turn off for I think it is the A176 for Billericay. The slip road off bends to the left. It may well be signposted from here with the good old brown signs for the Festival Leisure Park. If not, here goes ... Turn left at the roundabout. Will take you under the A127 you just come off of. Straight over the next roundabout. Left at the next which means B&Q will run along your left hand side. Over the traffic lights. Over the next roundabout and first slip road off for the Leisure Park. We park up by Pizza Hut. You should see us all.

Looking forward to seeing the usual crew and any new faces ohmy.gif)

I'll looking forward to seeing you there Heather biggrin.gif

However, I've actually been mostly driving a Ford Transit Dura-Shift semi-automatic this week. I'm going to continue being 'White-van-man' until I get my new company motor next week tongue.gif

Hope your 'White Van Man' driving abilities are not transferable to the FRP! tongue.gif

I will be attending this one too!

Don't worry Kev :?

I'll clear out the old copies of the Sun and mouldy Maccy D's off the top of the dash by the time of the meet. I'll also promise to clean the FRP so nobody can write 'I wish my girlfriend was as dirty as this van' or 'Also available in white' on the back!! laugh.gif

New number plate I see! smile.gif Now we can have R5 and T5 at the SX meet's tongue.gif

Morning all,

Don't know whether this is the best place to post this or not, seeing that the meet has been and gone, but this is to thank all those of you that came along to SX Mini Meet 2 on Friday 14th. It was great to see the 7 kats looking so shiny and sophisticated 8) parked up on the sea front. Southend certainly made a change and is sure to be visited again for an SX meet smile.gif

It was really nice to see the usual crew and the newer faces.

Don't forget Big SX Meet 2 is set for Saturday 5 April and is to be a lunch and bowling meet. Places are limted, so please sign up on this Forum or email me off list to secure your place!!

Happy motoring and drive safe.
