I have a few friends who want to do this. All different cars but prob a few more ZS' as i'm on ZSOC also.

Just wondering if any of you lot wanted to do some? I'm trying to arrnage a few people to go to a morning or evening 'Novice' track session at a circuit, prob Brands, in the next couple of months.

Prices are either £99 or £115 and thats 2 1/2 hours open pit.

I'm interested. Though I'd need to get time off work, but that shouldn't be a problem.

I'll keep and eye on this thread smile.gif
open pit lane events are detailed 'Typically there is a mixture of car pace and driver ability so this evening would suit the more experienced track driver.' so may not be best suited for every one.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

I would recommend anyone planning on going to the Nurburgring to go on one of these days as it teaches you all about track driving and how to let people past e.t.c

I echo that coment. The MSV days are very well organised and I would hope would install newbies with a good sense of appropriate behaviour whilst driving on track. wink.gif Kate's post is correct, and I would recomend folk attend a track day of the correct experiance level. wink.gif

BTW, I maybe be interested in another Brands Hatch trackday too. smile.gif

I'll chuck some more dates about for people and if you can you can but if you can't then tough!

Plenty more dates for you to do one by yourself just thought it maybe good if a few of us got together so then we're all on track as opposed to lots of strangers.

I'm thinking about the May 30th evening session at the moment. Might skip the drive round the circuit in a minibus this time, but other than that, those novice ones are well worth repeating. Loads of track time too, considering it's only 2.5 hours, although it does depend on how many people sign up. There were 32 cars last week, and by about 7pm all but about 15 had buggered off home!

£25 for 20 minutes tuition with Motosport Vision, but it varies. I think it's included at Castle Combe. I booked a session and asked if it could be as early as possible. As it turned out, this was right at the start of the session so people were crashing all over the place and the session was red flagged twice during my instruction. Obviously that eats into your time with the instructor. Consequently it's a bit of a gamble deciding whether to book it early so you've got plenty of session left to put it into action, or book it later and run less risk of red flags cutting short your track time with the instructor. It's worth booking a session though, as the instructor will help a lot with lines and braking points. Being very familiar with the track also means they know how hard you can push it.
