I keep getting warm air inside my car even with the dial on cold. When I bought it in august, it had the hcv bypassed. Thinking it was defective, few days (last days of November) ago I bought a new one.
My new HCV is made by TRW, usually companies like TRW do manufacture materials for automakers. I avoided the very cheap ones.
My old HCV seems to be the "corrected part number" starting with 7N21
I measured the voltage at the plug. readings of almost 14V with the dial on hot and around 13,60V with dial on cold.
In the middle, voltage ranges from 13,6 to 13,90 +/-
Plugged in the old HCV (my car came with it bypassed, so now I'm testing things out) and didn't saw that thing inside the HCV moving.
measured the resistance on old HCV (multimeter set to 200 ohm) and had a read of 15-17
didn't measured it on the new.

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Changed my panel, fixed!
The new HCV was good and... Even the old Ford one was good too xD Little annoyed to have spent an extra 40 eur on a new part, but... at least if something happens, I got an extra already
