Ha ha u no what i mean,no not yet,trying to get funds together,but i have just had my custom exhaust fitted with decat,viperx panel fillter and a custom remap,

Going on rolling road at the weekend,but the guy tgat did the. remap thinks its about 140bhp,on thinking I lil less but will see lol

It's goin on dyno after,butnot the guy thats doing remap,taking it to another guy,like I said,he thinks 15-20bhp,so il just take his word atm lol...

I can't see why it won't get near 20,decat will help,iridium plugs,exhaust and filter

ideally you need to do the RR BEFORE you get any work done...if you get bullshit inflated figures before you even hit the mods it can be very deceptive...

Based on the amount of work Ford had to do with the puma to get an extra 30, i'd say relistically your looking at 10-15..

The 1.7 delivers fantastic torque (relatively speaking) from 2k onwards right through the rev range...your not going to make any significant improvements to it with conventional tuning unless you do some serious modding... a new exhuast always makes any car feel more pokey...you'd feel the difference with that alone without any extra mapping...

Any advice on decent tyres at a decent price?? Other wise il be off the track all day lol

i found with a decat pipe i lost low down power due to lack of back pressure,non resonated miltek with a 4-2-1 manifold,seemed quite a big difference with the cat on

Ditto, just fitted a stiffer ARB to the front of mine and I reckon in the wet it could well be awful.
