Is anyone having trouble getting password reset emails on Project Puma, I'm getting nothing on redexr and Hotmail email and even tried a new account using redexr stu and my BT email and still no emails. ???

Anyone here also on Proj Puma, moderator ?? who can assist ??

Nope. I tried to set up an account a while ago but for whatever reason it didn't work when I got the email to accept registration or whatever its called. I then tried to log in and it kept on saying that my email address is already in use (probably because I have tried to set up an account) but my password didn't work and kept saying wrong username. I tried to reset my password but it wouldn't let me. When I emailed the team I never receive an email back to help me or reset something, consequently I'm snookered in no man's land. Can't seem to get around it.

Maybe you have not given people very much time to have seen any issues and respond to emails that you send to ProjectPuma. Sites are run by volunteers so time to respond to issues is not always instant, I expect you will get a response to your emails.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

You are probably right. It has been on and off well over month though.

I've just PM'd this link to Dal, on the Project Puma website.
Rick

The Haynes Fiesta Manual (3397) can answer a lot of your questions.

There had been an issue with spam, so the site did get a little locked down for a while due to constant postings from robots! Sure Dal will sort it soon

As mentioned above, there was an issue with spam a while back so maybe that's got something to do with it.

If you want me to manually reset your password I can just in case the email bit is playing up. If you want to send an email to me at dal@projectpuma.com with the email address you registered with (just so I can confirm it's you etc) I can set your email address to something different as well if the error is elsewhere on the internet...

Send me an email and we'll get it sorted.

That goes for anyone else having issues.

EDIT 12.24

It looks as though there is a SQL error in the activation part of the forum software - I've let Matt (Red) know as he holds the crown jewels so to speak. Might take a while as he's not in the country at the moment.
