I have a puma with a sticky throttle holding rev which is a complete pain as sometime you have to do 3000rpm gearchanges which my clutch or box does not like lol. Did your puma hols the revs?

Cheers. Ally

April 2012 - Into the bodyshop! Put it into a body shop to have the rust in the rear arches kept in check and also had the rear arches, bonnet and front bumper resprayed

Currently looking into getting the wheels refurbished + new tyres fitted and the Cambelt changed.

I will update thread with photos when work is completed.

Sorry Ally, i didn't notice your post! not been on for sometime... erm it just got to the point where i had to lift the throttle up sometimes with my foot, then when i tried to lubricate it, it broke in the process! (que emergency run to local ford garage!)

Tim

7th March 2013 - Wow time does fly.... thought i better post an update on how things are.

I put it through a MOT last year and it passed with flying colours so i insured it for three months and drove it a 'handful' of times here and there! But was struggling to get the time to drive it with work being very busy.

Did manage to get out to a PH meet in blindley heath.

So it has been tucked away in a garage since august last year Posted Image .

Plan on getting it out this year and hopefully getting a few more bits done to it and possibly getting out to a few meets!

Ditto, time flies when you don't get to take it for a play.
Hope your tyres are OK :)/>

Ahhh time does fly... Well i am now a home owner, run my own business and just do not have time to play racing pumas any more Posted Image The focus i bought is still going great for the running around i do.

The FRP had its cambelt done at Owens Garages in Haywards Heath by Oli in June 2014 and last year i had all four wheels refurbished by Lepsons - Fantastic job!

Once the Cam belt was done i had it MOT's (no problems again!) and took it for a few drives - it is driving so nice even after this time!

It also had a oil and filter change and the brakes were given a good clean whilst off the road. - Oli at Owens garages did comment on how clean the brakes were!

The Main reason for this post is to see if any of you guys are interested in this car as i just do not have the time or lifestyle to own a nice car like this any more Posted Image it makes me sad to admit this but i would love to see this car go on to another owner that can love and maintain it like i have done.

Please PM me for details.
