Picked up some stuff from the electro platers the other day, majority here are for the engine bay area-
And a few more that I had forgotten to take so had them done seperately-
Hopefully get on with putting the engine bay back together tonight

My throttle body, gave it a good clean with a wire brush-
Then painted and rebuilt using the plated parts in my previous post-
Cleaned and dressed my battery tray, also painted the metal strap around the outside edge and also fitted plated bolts too-
My conduit cable covers were starting to look old / grey and tatty looking out with the old-
And in with the new, I fitted these to most of the existing wiring that were on show-
Refitted my left hand engine mount which had been painted along with plated buts and bolts-
Did quite a bit more but it got dark so no photos
Oh and picked this up on Saturday, my original steering wheel trimmed using FRP genuine alcantara material and a dark grey leather to match the airbag casing
Thanks for looking, Alex

Engine bay detailing continued I have changed the air conditioner and the radiator as they were looking old and making the bay look untidy-
Got the last few parts of the gearbox casing painted up and also had some parts electro plated to break up the silver-
Stripped most of the engine bay wiring of the old fabric cable wrap and used new fabric wrapping and conduit cable covers-
Fitted NOS original Ford Bosch drivers side headlight, old vs new-
Painted the yellow dots back on the suspension turrets-
Alcons were refurbed by Chris, new stainless fixings and painted finishj also had Hi-Spec bell and rotor front discs fitted-
New Ford Racing badges fitted, old vs. new-
Engine bay fully detailed just before Ford Fair 2013-

Thank you! I'm really pleased with how its turning out, it definitely has a long term future in my ownership. This winter should see a full front running gear strip down. I have already fitted new front shocks, drop links, top mounts and track rod ends but want to drop the front sub frame, drive shafts, ARB and wishbones to have them powder coated to match the rear axle. Will also refurbish the front steering knuckles and fit new bearings and ABS sensors whilst it is in pieces.
Watch this space!
