Introduction:
As the Summer sun shines high over the Sussex countryside, keep things hot for your Kat with this Pooh Country / Mid-Sussex Summer Mini-Meet. This event first took place in November 2002, and has been enjoyed by a large number of Pumapeople since over the years!!
The meet starting point will be the Pease Pottage Moto Service Station, M23 Junction 11. The service station is clearly signposted from both north, and southbound carriageways of the M23. The basic route of the meet will take us away from Pease Pottage, and along the twisty B-roads of Mid-Sussex towards the beautiful Ashdown Forest.
Once through the forest, we will visit one of it's most special features. The House at Pooh Corner in Hartfield is the building that was made famous in A.A Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh books. The picturesque, Queen Anne period building houses one of the world's best selections of 'Pooh-phernalia' withing it's excellent gift shop. Visit the official website for more details of this 'Enchanted Place': www.pooh-country.co.uk
After our visit to the Pooh Country shop, we can wander down the road to the The Hay Waggon Inn for lunch. If the weather is nice, we could even stroll into the 100 Acre Wood and play Pooh sticks on the famous Pooh Bridge. If we are lucky, we might even see Tigger, Roo, or Piglet between the trees!!
I will be handing out a route direction sheet on the day, so don't panic about getting hopelessly lost!! If you have any queries or questions about the meet, please feel free to cotact me. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing you all there!!

Not expecting a massive turnout for this one, as folk might only want to do the meal and Pooh shop part of it, but if we have a few along and everyone has a good time, then I'll be a happy bunny!
