I have for sale a very clean and tidy Ford Puma 1.7 in Moondust silver. It was registered in March 2000 and has the propeller style alloys and the digital mileage clocks.

The first owner kept this car until May 2010 with just 32000 miles on the clock. And had a FFSH until then. I have used quality local garages since and have changed the oil once myself.
Since then it has been owned by my wife and covered just 16k in the last 4 yrs. Despite this low mileage it has always had at least an oil service every year using the recommended 5\30 fully synthetic quality oil, as such I have never seen the oil looking anything other than honey coloured even just before it's next service.

We have used this car on a mixture of journeys and so has not been just used for short town journeys but also for holidays and longer journeys too. The car has performed faultlessly on every occassion. I consider it to be the best car I have ever owned and will be sorry to part with it.

It has recently be sorned due to lack of use as we now have a bigger family car and a camper van and so cannot justify keeping the Puma for pleasure only.

The car had it's timing belt and tensioner replaced using genuine parts at 36k miles in 2011,

More recently it has had 2 new front tyres and new front disks and calipers. The rear axles bushes were replaced on the last MOT in 2013.
Everything works as it should including the air conditioning and heated front screen and mirrors.

The interior of the car is particularly impressive and still retains the as new smell.

Under the bonnet is also very clean and this showed when I purchased from the original owner who had obviously cleaned under there regularly.

The body work has suffered from some stone chips to the front and some light scratches to the rear bumper there is a light car park dink on the passenger side which could be removed using paintless removal techniques. It has had the rear bumper painted during our ownership due to a light parking incident but this was done to a high standard. The wheel arches were kept very clean by the previous owner and I have continued to tend to these with a high quality wax oil to prevent the usual rusty arches problem, other areas under the car have been similarly wax oiled in my ownership to keep the condition as good as possible. There is a small amount of lacker peel on the boot lid edge which is not really that noticeable. And a very small blister where the rear wing meets the rear bumper.

Overall a very clean and straight Puma which has got a lot of life and fun left to be had without the need to spend a lot of money having rust issues sorted which many others have.

The car is currently sorned but I will MOT and rectify anything which comes up (which I doubt) before the new owner takes it away. This will include a brake fluid change as this is now due.

I will get some current photos of the car at the weekend but can email some over for anyone interested before hand.

Looking for offers around 2k for a very straight little car.

Please contact me on 07810006851 if interested or for further details, or PM me on the forum.

Thanks

Shaun
