from a different post, have you got the right one

the FRP part number is 9097845 for the 'parkbrake cable'.....

the 909 may have changed to 908

searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

on the floor in your garage..? not exactly a piece of cake....

easy for some is impossable for others...how good are your DIY skills..?

Personally, I hate jobs under the car in my garage.... it just does my head in getting bits in your hair, up your nose... in your eyes.. wacko.gif i'd be taking it somewhere else...

sounds like the right part number to me wink.gif

Dunk changed the handbrake cable on mine a coupla months ago. Just used axle stands to lift her off the floor! Said the most difficult bit was working round the heat-shield on the exhaust..... you need to bend it out of the way (it's not easy) and ours tore a little bit. Rattled as well when he put it back on but we sorted that when we went down to Pumabuild for something else lol..... managed to get it back into place while it was up on the ramps!

Perhaps only to be attempted yourself if you're quite a confident mechanic or if you're not scared then give it a go anyway lol
