Hi all,
After buying a new exhuast for my car and having it fitted im about to take off my IAC valve and clean it then I want to reset my ECU.

I need to know if what I have is the radio code because it doesn't say clearly on the piece of paper

This is what it says

Ford Keycode Security

Unit Type FD 600N

Key Code 4***

Does that sound like the right thing?

Cheers

it is a 4 digit number mate so it sounds like it could be right.

if it does not work get the serial number off the unit and give paul or alan at Pumabuild a call and they will give you the code for about Å“10 rather than Å“30 at ford.

alan.

What you might want to know is how to enter the code...

Press button one the first digit amount of times,
Button 2 the second digit amound of times etc

so code 2413 would be press 11, 2222, 3, 444

Think that's right.. sure someone will correct me if not.

You can buy brake / carb cleaner in small spray cans from many motor shops. Meths seems to work quite well too..
