Now I'm not sure if I'm the only one to suffer from this, but having a passion for design means there are some cars and details who's sheer ugliness actually DOES make me physically ill!

I'll start with these examples:

Chrysler PT cruiser dashboard:

Subaru XT Turbo dashboard:

Isuzu Piazza dashboard:

Nissan Silvia FJ20 dashboard (can't find a pic only an external pic):

Honda Accord Inspire front end:

Toyota Avensis Estate rear:

Stutz Bearcat- the ugliest car I know of (coincidentally also the most stupid boot opening I know of)

Feel free to add your own monstrosities ohmy.gif

I reckon I could break that PT cruiser steering wheel. blink.gif

The Vauxhall Meriva and the Studebaker Avanti for me. The Avanti just because it's so ugly and the Meriva for the fact that if I have to look at one for a bit it sends me to sleep. sad.gif

Think the 'desperate seller' title is appropriate.

Ah the Meriva. You've reminded me of the Suzuki Wagon R with the ugliest boot handle ever designed. It looks more like a handrail.

If you look at a facelift Wagon R you know why it's there. It's to crudely hide hide the number plate indent in the bootlid that isn't used...consequently it looks stupid with TWO number plate positions only one of which is used (in the bumper)...what crass design.

I'm thinking the Ford Edsel. Actually, many American cars from the fifties. Absolute excess.

I found this site all about ugly cars, but my faith in it rapidly fell when I saw on the homepage a BX, Ami 6, Multipla, and Avantime. Some of the best lookers ever!

Although their taste is awful (the DS is on there!) the comments are quite amusing. Witness this one about the 2CV, "This used to be the preferred transport for teachers, eco-warriors, weird-beards and people who don't wash their hair. The 2Cv was modelled on a boating accident that occurred in Cherbourg in 1923."!

The mk1 Multipla is horrendous & the mk2 is bland as hell. 1112202173.gif

Yes! The rhodious. I am strangely proud to have got the model wrong although I would imagine the Rexton is also a biffer!

The Beetle convertible and Mini convertible look like prams! laugh.gif

Yeah that is on purpose I am subtly saying that they look so much alike that I have confused them when posting the pictures. rolleyes.gif wink.gif

I disagree about the Multipla. It's certainly not beautiful, but it is different without being offensive. I remember the first time I saw one on the road, it had a sticker in it which said "Wait 'til you see the front!". The mk2 is, of course, a cop-out.

The Mini convertible isn't too bad, but why didn't they turn it into a two seater with a proper hood? It would have been a great little sports car then, instead of a pose-mobile.

The Multipla massively offends me, personally I would never own one. It's ugliness pales into insignificance when compared to this car, it must be the ugliest car in the world (luckily it's only sold in North America).

Ladies & gents I give you... The Pontiac Aztek
