Lovely looking car, top effort. Personally I don't like the mounts on the rear spoiler, or the door mirrors, and it needs bigger brakes, but it isn't my car! Regardless, well done in finally getting it to this point, seems to have taken ages, but I bet it seems longer to you!

no worries flash, i have been thinking that i will get the mounts powder coated black, as i think they are too shiny, as for the brakes they are actualy bigger than the frp's (st170 disc's and calipers front (300mm) and rear (unknown size but bigger than FRP)) however i dont have the alcon calipers but i will very soon be getting 6 pot wilwood calipers to replace the front calipers

Look phenomenal mate! Hard to see in the photos but if you don't have centre badges for the wheel get some gel overlays from DMB, I've got the carbon look ones on my wheels, I've got a project thread on projectpuma if you want to check it out. You need 59mm badges for the best fit, I had 60's first and they fell off.

That does actually look amazing! there are some small details i dont like too much individually, but as a package it all kind of works, i think it looks great. maybe FRP's should all have been black!!

I think that's the best looking puma I've ever seen!

How did you change the indicator lens in the rear lights to clear?

+ it needs a grill to finish it off! :bleh:

thanks for all the comments, i will be getting the spoiler mounts powder coated black soon, i promice!

as for the rear lights the indicator lens is replaced with a reverse light lense, there are a couple of ways of doing it, 1 is to carefully split the outer glass away (very difficult not to break it) or you can cut it out from the inside and glue it back together when finished, much easier! i think there is a how to guide somewhere, will post up some pics of interior and engine bay too soon

many thanks

sam

Interesting looking shinny bits on your trolley :)
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale
