Bought some ST150 brakes (callipers discs etc) off a breaker which I thought were 260mm - I had just been checking for some pads for them and found that they are 280mm - will they still fit my propellers or will I need to fit spacers - as the car has 240s on at present and I found they were lacking on my old one?

There is a great guide in the wiki about what brakes fit the puma from other Ford models, I would link to it but I am using my tablet right now so not as easy.
Doesn't cover the ST150 though.

I have the ST150 brake setup and propellor wheels. You need 3 mm spacer for them to clear the calipers. The standard studs will cover it just fine. I just had laser cut 3mm thick stainless steel plate to measure (used a template from brembo site where it describes its discs) and it works like charm!

Ah - so I am going to need spacers - thank you this is very helpfull information - I was hopping just to grind a bit off the callipers at worst - so spacers it is - can't you get spacers of the right size of the shelf?? - I could fit 5mm all round? or does the handling go poo

Wild E - I have looked on the Brembo site and I cannot find any templates - I must be looking at the wrong page - do you have a image or a link etc

Here it is. I just had cut the SS steel (3 mm thickness is enough) as per scheme.
OD is 146 mm, 4 holes (13,75 mm D) at 90 degrees apart and PCD is 107,95 mm.
Inner D is 63,7 mm.
Take a look at face of the disc and do the same!

Should do. I just felt it was more secure to replicate the full facia contact between the whee and the hub as it is between the disc and the wheel

I have ordered similar off the tinternet - I will see how they look when they arrive - seems straightforward enough to get them laser cut in 3mm stainless if they dont - many thanks
