hego sensor¿?¿ ...again¿? :(

hi all

after to have changed hego sensor the car worked well, but now it
returns to do the same... that i can be?

sounds like the hego has gone bad again... probably due to another sensor having failed as well... you should disconnect the battery for 30 mins after changing a hego sensor...

I disconnected my battery for more than one hour...: ( hego sensor new defective? : ( it is possible?

Possibly, but unlikely... is the car completely standard ? i.e. no 3 inch striaght though exhaust or anything ?

Still reckon another sensor has died though... any diagnostic codes ? have you tried the full Ford WDS/FDS diagnostic tests ?

apart from that , there's no other advice I can give...

When you disconnect the battery to reset, do you have to take both the negative and positive sides off?

No... just disconnent one battery terminal to cut the power...
