I have just had a fiesta back from the rolling road which i fitted a std 1.7 puma engine in.
It has just managed 162 bhp and 165 lbft the only mod to this car was a pipercross induction kit, one of my de cat exhaust manifolds and a new ecu and sensors.
This was achived on a base program and they hope to get more out of it when they spend some more time on it. biggrin.gif

Alan,
Hope you don't mind me asking, but where did you get the ECU from? Is it an off the shelf product or a one off?..

...Next question...How do i get one?

Isn't most of the power from bypassing the cat?

How easy is it to re pipe in the cat for MOT?

Get yourself a motorsport cat, will cost a bit more, but still be legal and pass MOT's, but give you that bit of extra power wink.gif

Don't be so soppy.

Bin it and bribe the tester, do you really want to keep the cat? They only pack up and cost a mint when they need replacing. So keep yours in a box that way it stays in great nick.

Sports cats are about £200.00 and will increase the flow of gases
