Is there a failsafe way of cleaning the puma without getting water marks on it?

This is what I do which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't

Hose the puma with cold water (no ban in my area yet).
Clean the car with good / decent grade shampoo
Hose the shampoo off with cold water
Rub down with a chamois or equivalent cloth
Use wax every two months

All this is done on a cool surface and not in direct sunlight.

Any other suggestions or tips?

I'm glad I am not the only one to whom the use of the word 'detailing' as a synonym for 'cleaning' was mistifying. wink.gif

If you leather it down afterwards like you say..then you shouldnt be getting water spots ja_stupid.gif ...especially if you wax it regular.

Might be worth after youve leathered it to go over once more with the leather to pick any last spots up. OR Purchase some Meguiars quick detailer spray and after youve dried the car spray each panel with QD and wipe off with a Microfibre cloth..brings it up a treat and will also remove any spots you may have.

If your after a great wax for black then id go for Meguiars #16 OR Chemical Guys XXX Wax....both give fantastic results on Panther Black good.gif
