One of my tutor group (year 8, about 12 years old) told me he had rated me on ratemyteachers.com blink.gif I wasn't on the site up to now but he has given me 5/5 for all 3 ratings, I don't know if he has put a comment because it says pending approval.

Its nice but if other kids see me on there then they might also rate me now! ohmy.gif huh.gif

I avoid exposure on as many websites that my pupils have access to as I can.

What starts off as a harmless bit of fun can escalate so quickly and as a teacher you are a soft target who cannot easily respond. Kids can be so vindictive, too!

I hope that all stays fun and positive, Lisa!

Yes laugh.gif but the vindictiveness doesnt seem to just stem from bad parenting though does it?? it seems to be a random growing affliction!!

There's always some you get on with and some you don't. I seem to get on with most, but if one day I give one kid a detention I worry that they might go and do something for revenge.

Oh well...

You could always get baby photos off the parents and pass them round class for the ultimate comeback laugh.gif At least its not them bricking your house or vandalising your car and just online

Who is going to look at that sort of site anyway? Other kids and the odd paranoid teacher. I wouldn't worry about it Lisa.

Equally a 12 year olds opinion of me wouldn't worry me one way or the other. Years of being slagged off by Scouts and Explorers have givemn me a ducks back mentality!

just to clarify, I didn't put myself on there. I'm not sure if you can ask for the entries to be removed.
