Some Engine Work For My Dad's Puma Rate Topic: -----

Busy this week working on my dad's car..Man it's hot! :phew::/>/> :phew::/>/>

First job was removal of gearbox and Engine..

then go round it all..clean it up... reseal a few bits here and there...

remove inlet - clean front crankcase breathing and insert new valve - Clean up all the oily mess.. :blink:

Change over the exhaust cam after someone (naming no-one) managed to snap off a piece off the end..

re-time the engine...luckily we spotted the tensioner pulley was knackered! and was throwing the belt off course.. :rant:/>/> :rant:/>/>

Remove both sump sections and oil pump and change the front and rear crankshaft oil seals...rather time consuming!

Re-assemble!..

Actualy managed to do the exsact same thing to the inlet cam when fitting my frp cams :/ luckely I managed to line it up corectley :)

Been a busy week...finished today though and the car drives great..engine is as smooth as silk...
