Can Cover Gasket Rate Topic: -----

Hi people
Finally got new cam cover gasket through post
Been going over old post's and not to sure if
I should use gasket sealer on both side's ???
And also what should I torque the bolt's too ??
Any info would be great !!!

I can't look easy using my tablet but I think there is an article in the wiki covering this.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Thank's for pointing me in the right direction !!
Found wiki link and followed to the t !!!
Fitted new gasket and thought that i must change the plug's, but what is
the right choice of plug ??
Any pointer's ??
After saving them from drowning (possible been sat in year's of oil !! )
They looked like they have been in a while.
Also changed pollen filter, i didn't know they came in black !!!!
Look's like my poor old girl ain't been looked after to well .
Also just got ABS and traction light on all the time .
Do i need to take it to a garage to be plugged in
or is there a common problem ???
No idea
Any info would be great !!

I just use Ford spark plugs but I would suggest you get a service kit from Ally on here in the for sale section very good price and includes spark plugs you need.

Try first measuring the resistance of sensors. The correct vaule is around 1100 Ohm (ranging from 1060 to 1170, let's say). If it is over that it is bad, if readout is zero, that means the sensor is dead! Also, did you do something at the rear? Could be that the gap to the tone rings is incorrect. The correct value is 0,6 mm (tolerance range is 0,2-0,8 mm)
