Hi Guys, had my T reg 1.4 puma for 6 months and just found out that the ABS sensor on the passenger side is not connected. The plug on the engine side that connects the sensor has burst off. I have been trying to source a replacement but the only thing I can find is to buy a full wiring loom which I don't really wantto do so any help with this matter would be greatfully received.

Have you got the wires present and just need the plug?

I'd replace that section of wire and solder it with a good wire and wrap it in heat shrink. Would be better than new

If there was enough wire to do this I would but one of the wire is burst back in the plug

Is the plug itself ok? Still could be doable, I mean the soldering?

are we talking about the two wire plug? You can push the plug out of the housing and then resolder the wire to it and then push it back. Perfectly doable. After you have done it you will be probably have lost the small rubber seals, but I'd just cover everything in small heatshrink and on top of it with bigger heatshrink. It will be better than OE
