From my experience of PC world, they could do a lot worse!

I wonder how these companies survive when everything they sell is about 200% higher than the normal price from China or Singapore, which is where they most likely got their goods in the first place...

Because most people are like i am normally. If i need something, chances are i need it now - like when both laptops died. I didnt have time to wait for one to come through.

Now, if its something I want - like that new lens, then I will fish around til I can find one at the right price, regardless as to how long it takes to arrive.

Although I normally try and avoid it like the plague, PC world isn't as bad as it used to be on prices. I still always build my own stuff, but I guess for the average user who knows nothing at all about computers, they at least end up with somethign that does sort of what they want.

Was having a laugh at the Dell website the other day and buying a budget computer, you could almost double the cost if you went for all of their support and warranty options. It ended up being somethign like £320 extra on top of a £380 PC ohmy.gif
