I dont think i would trust this toy (B&D are not renowned for their long lasting tools) to keep its charge just in case you need it.
For the same money this may be a better bet if you have a weak battery

Does seem a bit optimistic to be able to charge the battery enough to start it from something of that size.
I've got a few of these which are worth their weight, more bulky to carry round but fantastically useful.

As Stu says a new battery is probably a better investment for the same money.

But if you had a new battery and you happen to leave the stereo on for a bit and it went flat as this happened to me recently.

I've got one of the battery packs Ian linked to, however mine come from Costco which worked out only slightly more expensive then the one on eBay.
It's a fantastic peice of kit and I've had to use it on quire a few occasions this year when purchasing cars.
I wouldn't personally want anything less power then the item I've got.

Ive been looking at a bargain basement battery pack c/w compressor for backup for track car
I have a 46A battery & tray from the Fiesta which is smaller than Ford used (53A)
(saves 5kg!
