On all previously programmed channels. Either terrible scratchy reception, on the existing tuned stations or it just does not pick up anything on the frequency of the presets? Aerial is still there! Virtually useless - can get Virgin but even that is scratchy as hell.

ANY IDEAS????????????????????????????

Might be worth checking the aerial cable hasn't dropped off the back of your head unit.
Also check you aerial hasn't snapped internally, maybe unscrew it and screw it back on again to see if it's got a good connection.

If it's a 6000 I had the same prob, no reception or very very poor. CD played OK but radio was none existent. In the end I gave it away for spares and bought another of ebay, was cheaper than a repair.
BOK is our co-pilot.

Do we need a special tool to take the radio out as it has two small holes on either side of the radio?

thanks
