Tailgate Release Where is it ?

I have an early ( 1997 ) 1.7 Puma. I notice it has all the wiring for an internal tailgate release coming from the lock and into the loom, it just doesn't seem to have the release switch - either that or I can't find it !. The handbook doesn't mention an internal release so I'm wondering if it's only fitted on higher spec models. Just in case, can anyone tell me where I should be looking.

If you have a 3 button remote, it works from that.

No Puma was factory fitted with an internal release - more's the pity.

Thanks for the replies. My key only has 2 buttons. I'm considering the possibility of using the wiring to the lock to fit an internal switch. I'll post here if successful.
