Speaker Size

Hi there guys thinking about upgrading my door speakers and was just wondering what size are they? Also what size are the back ones too ? thanks.

Is the front speakers 6.5" or 5.7" ? thanks

The back's are 5x7 if I'm not mistaken.

The fronts are open for discusion, some say 5.7" some say 6.65" I have fitted in mine whitout any modifications 6.5" at the front, and whit som modefications 6x9" in the back, I also fitted a pair of 8" woofers in the pods.

In the wiki, there are some guides to upgradint the stereo, you should chck them out

I'm sorry, but I cant realy tel. There is an issue whit mounting depht, I don't recal the max, but it should be hereif you search. But I can't se any reason why they shouldn't fit..

Well they seem to be more mounting depth than mine so hopefully mine will fit

how does the 8inch sub sound in the boxes always thought of doing it for mine

They sound grate

but that was not whitout some serious modiefications... Had to seperate the woffer, from the 6x9 so we made a wal out of builders foam, and we made a bas port. Probably stil needs some work, but I'm fairly happy whit it as it is now

Mounting depth is about 64 mm for the fronts. If you put on some deadening material, then it is max you can get in; without I guess you could squeeze another mm or two....

Agree, but if you're serious about your sound, then you want some sounddeadening behind the speaker
