Recline handles

Trying to replace one of the little plastic handles to recline the seets - but I can't get the old broken one off.

anyone done this in the past - if so how did you pull the old bits off?

I've had the bit that you pull up just fall out before... never tried to get it out. To get the whole thing off I think there are 2 screws.
