Everytime I go out of my drive, be it in reverse or forwards, my front suspension lets out a single 'clonk' or banging noise. Also, it has been doing it on any other similar turn at low speed over a small bump when on full lock. I've never heard it do it when not on full lock. I said to the Ford dealer about it, and they were just like 'it's the bushes, there's nothing wrong'. Are they right? Has anyone else had this sort of thing? Thanks.

it might be rare as it was factored into to production by the time ur FRP was converted, but you might have what is termed 'lock to lock clonk'. The fix was a slight shaving on the suspension turret to stop the touch condition. Yours should have had this done.

Ok, thanks. I will get the Ford dealer to have a look, but don't really want them to fiddle with it. I will get Puma Build to look at it once I can get it there.

personally... if you knew what they do, if this is what you have, you may well not trust your local dealer to do this... it is irreversible.....

FRPs that have had the turret top mod completed at Tickford during production were marked with yellow dots on the turret tops.

WARNING- Some peoples yellow dots have been rubbed off with time, so if they aren't there, don't go worrying that the job hasn't been done.
