Then the diffinative answer is yes you have short legs, my ex was 5'3" with a 28" inside leg, Matt is 6'0" and has a 32" inside leg.

Won't a long body mean that you have less resistance to G, though? More distance between the heart and brain. I'm quite the wrong shape - 5'11" - 6' and a 33" leg. Must be the reason why I fitted into the FRP with a full face helmet no problems, though!

Nope, thats not considered. Ideal pilots have skeletal frame of a gorilla, cos long legs and ejection can mean you loose your kneecaps.
There are a few Lightning Pilots who ejected that now have plastic knees because of it

...and given they are still alive, I'm pretty sure they don't mind plastic knee caps

I think theyd have prefered the panel to have been mounted a couple of inches closer to the aircraft nose

I'm somewhere between the two lol. Closer to 5'11", though. Depends if I feel tall or not that day.

Nice! I watched a programme on Discovery about it, that's all. They came to the conclusion to stand maximum G, you need to be strong and have a short distance between the heart and brain. This beefcake 5'5" guy was unstoppable lol. Then again, as you said, unless you are 5'5", then you tend to have longer legs if you have a short torso.
Need taller cars and longer aircraft.

So if you have a "tall-feeling" day and use you hair straighteners and wax, then you should crack 6'

Doesn't that depend upon the position of the brain? I have a number of acquaintances who seem to sit on theirs!
