Ok so if we had a NATIONAL Ford puma meet would you attend? And at what time of the year(poll). And how much would you be willing to pay for entry(post below).

This would include all ford puma models. FRP, Milly, Thunder, 1.7i, 1.4, turbo and modded.

It would be a Puma only display plus entry for viewing by non puma owners.

Note: this is only to gather data but please keep the answers sensible.

Thanks.

still would have liked to see alot more activity on this thread.

Might be able to arrange something with beaulieu if we get enough interest.

That is a very good location idea but not overly central.

Entry, perhaps £15 per person?
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

suggestions would be fantastic im just looking at figures atm but judging from the minor interest looks like it might not be the best idea after all.

I think that a National meet/show would be brilliant, gladly pay an entry to look at some prime puma's...

I'm up for a meet depending on location and date.
Beaulieu, could be good.
Do remember that there are some meets that repeat annually, particularly for the FRP's.
So try and pick your date to miss these by a good couple of weeks ;)

Where is Beaulieu? And why would we have to pay?

I don't think you'll get enough interest and I doubt you'll get non Puma owners paying £15 to look at Pumas?

You can get into Fiesta In The Park for £8 ish per person.

Might sound a bit negative but just being realistic.

I ticked every month and would pay a big fat zero to attend unless there was something interesting there. Although I've no interest in paying more than it would cost normally to go.

So you would be able to attend even with Xmas looming in December?....

The entrance fee for us would cover the space, facilities etc. Unless you go to minor pub meets all major meets cost something on entrance even if your displaying. Obviously we would look into getting trades people (possibly pumabuild/speed) to pop there head round the corner and come down.

It's a shame the Haynes Museum at Sparkford is not more central.
clicky
They have loads of parking for car clubs etc, resturant and even a small circuit /test track you can pay to use.
Plenty to see for those who don't mind paying to get in.
The car park area is out side the entrance.
So for those who don't want to pay, could stay with the Puma's ;)

It's a bit too far Down and to the West for a national meet I think.

I'm happy to pay for whatever it costs to do a meet, my point was that I'm not interested in money for nothing.

If there's a fee to find that is fair enough that we split it, or it can be done for free somewhere like a retail park but obviously this is somewhat less attractive in terms of things to do while you're there.

think summer best not sure on a central location though but one of the major museums sounds good as its always good to keep some people occupied with things other than show cars

A few of us turned up for the Breakfast Club at RAF Cosford a few weeks ago, cost nothing to get in, £3 to park, some cool motors, and you got in the RAF Museum for free as well, Bargain!

The Breakfast Clubs have finished 'til the New Year, but when they start up again, I'll try to arrange a meet, drive and meal in the West Mids, Staffs, Shropshire area. Watch this space!
BOK is our co-pilot.
