fancy coming off the tools lol...
i dont blame you mate, im a ata senire panel beater, been doin it 14 years now, but the life for a panel beater is hard going. the last 10 years has had some big changes to way we reapir them now, i should of been a painter lo less stress :)
well its is a lot off work but its nice to do it your self, as im finding hinden work before. Also as you would no a panel beater will aways rip peoples work apart.. and i have!!!
i never fill boot floors, but in this case i have... ant paying 400 for a floor but it looks nice now.
Goin to be doing some lead loading, now that bring you back :)

Looks grand mate, following with interest.

I'm sadly a young pup at 25 mate, I was a Panel beater for around 5 years from 16 then I took to assessing very very well. I'm now the youngest ATA accredited assessor in Britain. :)

I was in Bodyshop magazine lasy august I think it was. :D

Proud day, the ATA was the hardest thing i've ever done though, horrible 3 days in Newcastle! You guys have it easy on that side!

That is dedication :) Looks like a really fiddly job there to sort out from a rather messy starting point. The rust looks about the worst I think I have seen in pictures too and the FRP has plenty rust in lurking places. Right inside the rear quarters is a rusty spot too, out of sight and mind generally too. I stripped my interior and got at it. I wont mention the rust hidden behing the stupid mastic filler in the rear arch between the outer arch and inner infil peice.

yeh it is but i want to get it mint, and its a bit of history for it :)
mine dont look to bad with the rust, just a bit in the sill where it laps on it. but will be cutting it out and lead loading it, and striping the both rear wing back to see what i have to play with. all the under side is good, no rust but saying the its all been painted before so i no there going to be some thing hiding.
