yep they can be straightened but you find a person that is good at beating out the front arches as they are aluminium and also you cant knock out dents in the rear quarters as the original puma wing is still in place underneath as the frp one is just bonded on top so you cannot get to it to bang dents out.
ive spent 5k getting mine how it is now so i know what you mean with the money but that was when parts were available within a year nothing will be left its bloody stupid and peopl wonder why we get wound up when we see other pumas and fiestas with all our parts
because of this thats happening now, no one believed it when we said it 2 years ago it was apparently all scare tactics.
£5 K wow.
It is in Very Good condition.
I see you can but steel wings for a FRP. £700 odd each
I paid about £16 each for the wings on my Mk3 XR3i about 5 years ago when I replaced both and £40 odd for the front valance / slam panel.
Only trouble with Alloy, it stretches.
The rear wings, you would use either a suction pad or I have drilled holes before, pulled with screws, then re-miged the holes up on in unaccessible panels.
I only do all the car repairs as a hobby.
Come from doing motorsport and having to build / repair the cars
Having a bit of a run on Motorbikes at the moment, got to get rid of some projects on Ebay
I'm a sparky by trade.
