Black Wheels what do you think??

looking into gettin my wheel resprayed as they have a few marks on them and was thinking about doing them in gloss black?
i have seen the RS with black and lobe it, works well with the black lights and grills etc....


but will it just kill the frp?...........................

You can always get them sprayed silver again if it looks rubbish. I say go for it but maybe satin black rather than gloss black. cool.gif

I think Owlcastle also has blacks wheels
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Matt black much better than gloss...dunno how they would look after a few thousand miles tho.

Im getting mine refurbed in a few weeks. Liek to keep it standard silver but i sooooo want anthracite! smile.gif (double post zsoc! wink.gif )

Go Anthracite! Not the same wheels I know but you get the idea! Black wheels look great but sometimes you can't tell what the are from a distance and they make the car look really dark.

they look ok... but i still think the standard wheels look better...

also prefer the matt black to the anthracite....

you could go Bok style.... and have the wing mirrors done too... maybe the door handles to match...

Had mine done matt black and I've never looked black!

I felt the originals were silver just because wheels are, well, silver.

It's a competition car so black, white etc. is more in keeping than road car silver.

No problems after two years, but don't expect them to look like new forever.

mat blank lookes really good. Id keeo the ford racing caps silver though so they stand out abit more

Dont know about the black wheel thing unsure.gif the anthracite ones looked ok though, down to personal preference.
