hi all,i don,t know if i,m posting this on the right site but hope you can help. My 1.7 engined puma feels quite lively and engine is smooth and quiet but engine revs seem to take an age to fall away, particularly higher up the rev range when changing gear.I understand this is something to do with emmissions laws but it really affects driving pleasure,my old Pug 205 was never like this!Is there some mod that i can do to improve rev drop off?Any help/ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks Luxy

might be the idle control valve sticking, mines doing the same and have a new valve on order, ill let you know how it goes.
its done it before and all i did was take it off and give it a clean, the reset the ecu before refitting,it worked before but this time i think its kaput!!
