Hi all,

I still have my dear old Puma.

It has developed a rather odd problem. Randomly the indicators and heater fan will stop working. They will then suddenly either just start working again or sometimes by turning the car off and on again it will cure the problem.

The have tried wiggling the wires in the fuse box whilst its all working to see if that causes the problem but it doesn't appear to.

Can anyone shed some light please?

Thank you x
Regards,

Selina

I forgot to mention it also effects the electric windows.

The car doesn't have air con.
Xx

Selina

What year is the car? That will give some clues as to which configuration of fuses you have.

I am not sure that the two faults are in fact related rather then coincidence
Do all the wires look fully insulated coming out of the fuse box reading another post

Thank you Hppy Kat,good to see your still here  .

I will get hubby to check the internal fuse box as thats were the 3 fuses are that control the eletric windows, heater fan and indicators. Im hoping we'll find a naff connector that we can by-pass.

Like I say its always all 3 things that stop working together, never individually.

Selina

Sounds a promising dig into that fuse box then, hope that you can find an obvious cause in there.
