Has anyone had the remap pumaspeed are offering to thier ECU?
what like were the torque gains?
I e-mailed pumaspeed and they replied straight away and were very helpful although they couldn't tell me what torque gain comes from the remap.

I'm just curious as I am considering the remap to compliment the wee mods I have already.

i have done almost same modifications (no MSD coilpack) and planned to use Dreamscience for reprogramming

But...........
1)They have never done it before to an 1,7 engine in Greece (neither does Pumaspeed as far as i know)
2)It is very expensive

So, i do not want to be the experiment to their hands and propably i will go for FRP ecu

But...........
I will have to send my ECU to Pumaspeed, so no car for a few days!!!!!!Especially at this period i use it on a daily basis, so my cat will have to wait for reprogramming

As for MSD coilpack, does it make a difference?

well my coil was causing a misfire, so yes!
but I'd imagine uprating anything in the engine bay will compliment any modifications you have already. smile.gif

mmm, when i keep steady rpm and especially at 3000rpm, the engine does not run smooth.
It makes a, i do not want how to say.It seems like starts and stop. When accelerating its o.k.

Last week i went to a friend who has dreamscience 3000 and plug it to my ecu to see if there is a fault code.
We saw "misfire to cylinder1"

Sparks are brand new, spark leads are 6months old. There are two things i want to check :

Coilpack and injectors

I believe i should buy an MSD coilpack...

I found my car was giving a good spark, but still not burning the fuel properly, I would say the MSD is worth it.
looks cool under the bonnet too. smile.gif
