I don't own one (yet!)
I've always thought they looked great but everyone I speak to mentions hairdressers, fiestas and ewww nasty cars - have they missed the point or have I?

I'm getting a bit put off!!

I personally wouldn't worry about the negative comments about them as most of the people who make them tend to be uninformed about the capabilities of the Puma. My favourite term i've heard of is a Fiesta in a "Tutu" even my boss has slagged it of and then been very suprised by the performance and handling that it has.

go for the cupra r, guaranteed drooling from your local male populace, a pumas a ladies car and thus only attracts women, its entirely of no use...overall its a peice of metal, and the rest.. and if your that bothered by the image it gives, maybe its closer to home than you think..

A Puma will go around the corner, a Bora will plough straight on into the bushes. Which would give you the worst image? laugh.gif

SEAT Cupra R...bodge engineering at it's best and not a car I'd ever comtemplating drooling over. I would be happy with them if only they would stop proclaiming themselves as the new Alfa Romeo, that is quite simply not funny and one joke too far comp.gif

i have taken a few people out in my car who have said negative things like this and there is always a favourite sweeping corner of myne that i can take at 110mph they soon like it and take them around a few roundabouts and see if there brown trousers changes there minds.

i can guarantee it will. people see it in a different way once they have been out in a puma. and i know its got the fiesta floor plan and dash and things but come on does it really look like one. i dont think so. and fair enough the puma and the ewww nasty car have similarities but have a look at the ewww nasty cars interior and dash it is horrible and the car is slow and handles nowhere near as good as the puma. oh yeah and both of my hairdressers said they dont like them so work that one out smile.gif

I think the Puma is one of the most underestimated car of modern times.
I love it when someone in there little Saxo VTR/S start reving it up at the trafic lights and our pumas leave them standing.

Sorry, if you are worried about what your peers think of what you drive, maybe you need a life. I take all sorts off stick for having a "yellow shopping trolley" and do I give a fook? Nah.

Maybe Mr Diehard could arrange suitable sponsorship and logoes from ASDA for me

At least with a puma, the only dip stick is under the bonnet, unlike in the drivers seat of a *ewww nasty car*

I love showing wannabees what my cat can do when they pull up beside me at lights or roundabouts. Foot to floor, a couple of twisty bends and Mr Boy Racer is left eating McHumble Pie.

Cupra R is a very good car, handles well and is fast. I would rather spend the money on 2 cats than splash all that cash on the SEAT.
