I followed Pumastew's advice about the noising steering wheel that a lot of us have experienced and its worked. Pumastew used "Graphite Grease" which I don't have so I used Normal Duckhams. Spoke to Stewart and neither of us Knew for sure what was the correct grease, So I telephoned Fords. They said I should use "Contact Grease"

I've tried Halfords,They don't sell it and I looked on eBay,Nothing. Drove the car tonight and its all fine,But I'm worried Duckhams may do some damage? Not sure if there's any electrical working etc on this part? I don't think so, To me the 2 prongs just turn around when you turn the wheel and when they hit certain parts of the disc on the back of the steering wheel the stalk turns off? Hopefully thats all that is done? I.E the need for the Grease.

Anyone know for sure, What Grease, What the wheel and Prongs (2 Brass Pins) do? Any electrical parts etc etc ja_stupid.gif
