We used a fm transmitter to start with for our ipod and it was abit frustrating as had to retune as 'official' stations were trying to take over, plus it was abit fuzzy, my hubby, kitf, got an ipod adaptor from www.incarexpress.co.uk and was £80ish inc P&P, it plugs into the changer port on the back of the 6000RDS, and we've got it so the wires go into the glove box, very tidy, gives much better sound. Oh and you can control the ipod with the stereo controls, so skip etc, it also charges the ipod, and pauses the ipod when you turn the engine off, all of which the fm transmitter doesn't do.

i actually bought one today and the sound on it was terrible! i didnt buy that model but am presuming that any FM transmitter in London isn't worth the money as its really congested in here. i think i may have to buy a seperate head unit, hopefully my dad doesn't throw a fit as he's the one who bought it for me :-/ i seriously cannot live without my ipod! Thanx for the advice though
