Looks at the design of this and the Miltek one (good pics on the Pumaspeed site). You can see whay the Miltek one is £300 plus with the flexi section it's less likely to break too.

I'd save for the Miltek.

You might want to think about what you're going to do with the Cat - keep it or sportcat ?

It's likely to be made from kitkat wrappers and would probably crack after a few weeks.

Also, why do they list it for the 1.4, 1.6 and 1.7? Surely they're totally different engines (The 1.7 at least)?

All of the engines are practically the same, the 1.7 is a bored out 1.4 with a different head. I managed to crack my milltek (non flexi type), due to the crap ground clearance, Ive since cut 30mm out of the headers, it now taps the subframe when taking up drive in reverse!!!!! I'll take 20mm out next time!!!
I pass people with thick wallets but no oil under their fingernails

Just looked on Pumaspeed at the Milltek sport 4-2-1 & £600 for full exhaust which does not include a sport catback at another £350

so ones looking at over £900 for an exhaust system that gives 14 or so Bhp

expensive or not ???? I take it is not as it's from pumaspeed ??

Compare to a Piper system from PumaBuild, don't think there is much in it. Decat is a much cheaper way to go, but you need to find an MoT tester who is willing to pass your car without a cat.
