Always have up to now.
As it happens the local Tesco has been so busy that I've taken to going to the equidistant BP and buying their cooking. The extra penny per litre hardly being significant in the scheme of things.
There does seem to be some muddled thinking going on in this thread though - people proudly boasting they buy the high octane fuels as if they are somehow 'better' and so less likely to be contaminated.
Don't forget it is the same as the base as the 94 / 95 RON, just with more stuff in it and so if the regular stands a chance of being contaminated, the 98-99 has a higher likelihood.

It is reported that Tesco and Morrison in that area are supplied by a wholesaler called Greenergy.
Which of the majors Greenergy get their supplies from is the next question.

It's perhaps, what, 2p less a litre than some posh stuff that's advertised by a tiger walking down a motorway?
Where do we think the 2p extra per litre goes, boys and girls.....?

On the extra additives that the 'better' companies put in their fuel.
