Hi All

Unfortunately after a recent heart attack, for which he will need a further operation, my Father's much loved 1.7 Puma is for sale. At 75 although he loves the car it sits in the garage highly polished unused and now with recent events it is likely to remain garaged and unused. It's a lovely car, especially as I looked extremely long and hard for the right car for him to replace one that he owned several years ago. I would ideally like to keep the car myself, but with a young family and limited appropriate space that's not realistic.

Initially I'm gauging genuine interest for him and welcome, ideally local genuine interest so someone can view and see the car for themselves and make their own mind up. This Puma will sell and although the car isn't going to be the cheapest it would make an ideal collectors car or be used.

The details are as follows:

Ford Puma Black, limited edition with leather interior, F1 Alloys etc.
33,000 Miles with service history and receipts to confirm work done

This car was owned by the same family for 12 years and then transferred to it's previous owner who we bought it from.

As we all know rust is a significant issue with these, however this one has had both wheel arches professionally rust proofed and under sealed in 2013 from the inside also. This work cost nearly £1,000 alone. Therefore, there is no bodywork rust or door dings. Again, please view yourselves if genuinely interested.

The Puma has an MOT until September 2015 but could be re MOT'd if required.

The Puma has had a recent cam belt (in last 1,500 miles) and water pump, new exhaust, service, tyres and any work required in October '14 with approximately 150 miles driven since (as at March '15), with approximately £1,200 spent to ensure the next owner can simply drive the car away. All this work is backed up by receipts as is the mileage which can be by reviewing the MOT website (I can provide the relevant V5 details if required).

The previous owner also had an upgraded stereo fitted with built in hands free etc, again professionally installed costing approx £800, but we also have the Ford stereo for originality.

Please PM for genuine interest and offers which reflect the condition, mileage, specification. I can email pictures to those interested. The car is priced at £3,250. Again, this is is probably one of the most expensive Puma's but anyone who views the car, sees it and drives it will appreciate the car and why it's priced at this value. Please feel free to contact me. The Puma is due to be advertised on the usual sites but wanted to confirm it is now available for sale and ideally we would like her to go to an enthusiast and/or Club Member.

The car is a real eye catcher.

Any inspection welcomed - Based in Yeovil, Somerset.

Thank you - Mike

Please put an idea of price down...

the whole ad is a waste of time without it really... all you'll get is offers of a few hundred quid otherwise... (the going rate for many puma's these days)..

also... you cannot transfer tax to another owner anymore... so the current tax on the car is not an issue any more...

Good luck with the sale..

Thank you Chris, I have amended the post now the car is for sale.

I have added a price and note the tax point. I was aware of the change in tax requirements but was simply stating that the car is taxed.

Kind regards, Mike

Anything more than £2,000 for a non-FRP puma is fantastically optimistic...
