wow what a fast circuit
the sun was shining and we took advantage of the sticky track.
setting 60second laps
which is an average of 79mph

myself my brother and my dad all drove on the day.
and we managed to show up a few big boys, and certainly gained a lot of respect.
even from the motor bike boys who were there for the day after, who were unofficially timming everone through out the day

Fab shots B)
I have been there just once and loved it :D
The canteen was something else, remember the curry and the charming ladies who ran it.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Hi Ian

You will love it with your driving style, 90% of the track is foot to the floor in a puma, the straights are just short enough, so you never have to change up from 3rd just keep going to the rev limit.
The only time you see 4th is as Gerard's straightens up.
3rd flat out it will hold the as you hit the exit apex it hits the rev limit, perfect
That track was made for the puma
And yes the cafe was very good!! Fry up was my poison

Morning - wet and full of traffic - didn't enjoy it at all.

Afternoon - dry and less traffic, more grip, more passing, more fun, car performed faultlessly, absolutely love it when it goes well.

Best time was a 57.57, I was staying in fourth for the whole of Gerrards otherwise I'd be on the limiter half way around it and I didn't fancy a mid corner gear change.

Also had the same problem at the other end, not enough revs for third but fourth was a bit boggy.

Fiesta Zetec S final drive should sort that :woot2:

Lovely track though, once the weather cleared up I had a lot of fun. Also a small venue which I like, walk around and see things, choose a few spots to view, all very informal and friendly. Mega.

57.57 that's amazing for a puma, I'd love to go round with you to see where you scrubbed 2seconds off my time.
I was flat out in 3rd on Gerard's hit limit on exit, you must carry more entrance speed than me.
I know your puma is alot more sorted than mine, but 2 seconds has to be down to you being a much better driver than me

Probably will be there next year for PPC, we missed it last year because it clashed with a Nurburg trip but it's a great venue.
