well...im getting annoyed now...the drivers door rattles...the parcel shelf falls off everytime i open the boot and ive tried opening it slowly. The clutch makes a rattling noise when u first start the car in the cay and when the clutch is pressed it goes...what else...oh and it must be the seal around the bottom of the rear window leaking...

Not to mention the fact someone blocked me in the carpark on monday and there metal posts between each space and it was that tight my mirror got bent back and scratches along the passenger side!

Managed to get some out myself but theres a tiny dent and a few scratches to take to the body shop.

I love my car but all the little faults are starting to do my head in cos im trying to get me debts with credit cards paid and then get some nice seats for her...not lookling like its happening at the moment!! sad.gif

there are several suggested solutions to fix the parcel shelf on this site, Knowledge Base has a few smile.gif The quickest method is get an elastic band and wrap it around each pin, it makes them thicker so they are less likely to pop out their slots.
searching is fruitful | I'm a sponge not a mechanic | please do try that if stuck with a Puma problem whilst waiting for a reply | For the Puma fan this read 'The Inside Story Book' is very nice to own sometimes still seen for sale

Parcel Shelf Solution :- Use electrical tape and wrap around the rubber ends that slot into the plastic guides each side, this should hold it firm. Drill new holes and move shelf strings further to the edge.

Clutch :- Sounds like Hydraulic Release bearing to me. thats about a Å“100 job.

Door Card Solution:- Take door card off and check all bits & bobs are attached connected screwed/bolted on properly. Tighten/tape all loose bits.

Wing Mirror Solution:- Buy new Wing mirror.

Door Solution:- use soops to get dent out and use t-cut to polish out scratches. if too bad do as your doing and take to bodyshop.

Some things are easy fix and are diy jobs so dont panic.

I have owned my puma for nearly a month and have spent a few hundred quid on it already. But i now once i have done what is needed to be done the puma will be running perfectly wink.gif

I have the same problem with the clutch sound, but then again the biting point is really high so it's screaming at me for a new clutch!! Soon my baby... soon

Not really small dents like dinks but for bigger dents it works fine.

I had a low loader truck reverse into my car, there was a rubber type protecter strip on his lorry so it didnt scratch but dented my car in a perfect straight line. used a s oops to pull it out fine.

For smaller dents/dinks your'll prob need to use panel hammers but be warned you will need a little experience or someone that know's how to use them.
