Venue: Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit, Northamptonshire.

Event Website: www.traxshows.co.uk

For those showing on the Pumapeople / The Tigra Club stand, we will be meeting here for 0645 - 07:00, for leaving in convoy at 07:15. biggrin.gif

Roadking / Jacks Hill Cafe,
Watling St (A5),
Towcester,
Northamptonshire
NN12 8ET

http://local.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=...p;z=13&om=1

To find the meet point, basically head north up the A43 until you reach the A5 intersection and take a left on the roundabout. About half a mile on the left there is a truck stop. This is where we will meet and hand out tickets.

When you drive in turn right immediately, if you drive straight on you will be in a pothole infested car park.

Pics:

1. Approaching North / East bound to the A5 intersection with the A43, keep left at the roundabout (note Porsche building on the right)

2. Take the left to Weedon.

3. Exit off the roundabout:

4. If you're on the right road you should pass this sign on the right hand side of the road. Keep going.

5. The truck stop is about 1/2 a mile on the left. Big 'ROADKING' sign. Turn right as soon as you pull in.

Introduction.

Trax is known at the original car club and track action show. biggrin.gif Set at Silverstone, the home of the British grand prix there is no better location for one of the hottest all makes car shows on the UK show circuit. Over the years TRAX continues to provide a great day out with a wide range of trade stands, car club displays and live track action.

Meet Concept.

Pumapeople were proud to stage a modest display with our friends at The Tigra Club during Trax 2007. The weather was fantastic as always and the entertainment was just as good as the top quality cars on show. biggrin.gif

As a result of the positive outcome of last year's Trax event and our joint meet at Gaydon in January, The Tigra Club are keen to join forces with us again and maintain the camaraderie that we've so far seen between the two clubs! biggrin.gif Trax has always been a poorly supported event for Pumapeople, so it would be great to see a much stronger turnout for 2008!

Both Pumapeople and The Tigra Club look forward to Trax 2008 and hope that we can double the size of our stand and put on an even better show of both models next year.

How do I join this event?

I have placed an order for 15 Trax show Tickets and Vehicle Display Stand Passes from the event organisers.

In order for you to confirm your place on our club display stand, the following information will apply:

i) I will please ask that you are able to forward me £12 (per ticket) prior to one week prior to the event. This purchase will secure you 1 event entry ticket and a vehicle stand pass for your Tigra / Puma.

ii) If you wish to bring a guest with you to the show, I would please ask you forward me an additional £12 for each guest ticket you require. These will form part of the 15 tickets that have been ordered.

iii) Ordered tickets and passes will be given out by myself on the morning of the event. Once tickets have been ordered and purchased, there are no refunds. Should you find yourself unable to attend the event after you have paid me, I will do my best to help find another person to take your ticket / pass. I would then ask that you make arrangements for any payment to be made from them to yourself directly.

iv) If you wish to order any Track time or Sprint run tickets, I would please ask that you do this directly via the Trax website

http://www.traxshows.co.uk

I understand that Track time sessions are £30 per 15 minute session, and the 0-60 Sprint Test tickets are £7 per run.

If there are any further questions or concerns, then please do not hesitate in asking. biggrin.gif

I'm quite interested in this one this year Chris. Didn't make it to last year's one so it will be good to see what it's like smile.gif

Please add me (plus Malteser cake possibly) to the list

Three more Tigra's and another Puma signed up to this event now. biggrin.gif I'm keen to put together a good display for Trax this year as it's always been a bit half-hearted for Pumapeople in the past. sad.gif It's a good event, and it woud be superb to see a strong turnout for it from both groups. biggrin.gif
