Mot Advisory

HI all, will apologise now if i have posted this in wrong place, i'm new here, ok heres my problem

Got 2 advisories on mot, but dont understand them

1, Nearside rear (bush) Axle beam has slight vertical movement between stub axle and axle beam (2.5.A.1a)

2. Rear (bush) Axle beam has slight vertical movement between stub axle and axle beam (2.5.A.1a)



can anyone tell me is this easy to do and anyone have any idea on cost of getting them done

I suspect the tester hasn't really described it well, but it sounds like the rear beam bushes are worn. A common problem, parts are cheap enough (about 15 quid each for Ford ones) but it's not an easy job. Most garages will probably charge a few hours labour.
You may notice some knocking noises from the rear as you go over bumps. This would confirm worn bushes.
At least it's an advisory so you can get it done at your convenience.
